Alldrin Photography is hosting a bridal affaire

Brides-to-be and their guests are invited to the first annual Something Blue Bridal Affaire on October 4^th, 2009 from 11-3pm. The intimate reception style event will be held at Camps Restaurant in Angels Camp, hosted by Alishia Mares and Alldrin Photography.

The Bridal Show will feature the areas most sought after wedding vendors from caterers, photographers, florists, disc jockeys, venues, wedding cake designers, salons and much more. For one afternoon, Camps will be a one-stop shop where busy brides can plan and finalize the details of their upcoming wedding.

Admission and parking are free with raffles every ½ an hour. An elegant Bridal Fashion Show is scheduled for 1pm. Guided Tours of Camps Restaurant and facility will also be available to brides and their guests! I met Judy a few years ago at Columbia College. Her fiance Chris is in the Army so planning a big wedding was not in the plans, so they got married at home one weekend when Chris was home. Seven years ago these two love-birds met and it’s and honor to be photographing their wedding day. Caitlin and Jeremy are getting married at Ironstone Vineyards on September 12th. I’m super excited to shoot their day, because they are fun, energetic and a blast to photograph. Jeremy was a little scared before their engagement shoot, but their chemistry and love made it a relaxed and enjoyable shoot. Here are a few shots from their engagement session…

Not only a photographer but an assistant videographer

Darren Baca owner of Reel Eyes has been such a good friend of mine as far back as I can remember. We have both become artists of our own trade but often get the opportunity to work together as we both cover weddings. I had the awesome experience of stepping into his shoes and shooting a wedding in motion as an assistant videographer. It was so cool to video the wedding and to see how different it is from photographing a wedding. Here is the video link: http://vimeo.com/31214158. When I met Jenna and Justin a little over a year ago I knew from the moment I met them that their wedding was going to be a blast. It was just that! I set a record for dancing photos taking over 700 of just dancing, that explains the amount of energy and hip hop music that made the night fun. They got married up in the hills of Highway 17 in Los Gatos at the Creekside Terrace.

with wedding season gliding along, were still shooting engagement sessions for our September and October weddings. I spent almost an entire week in the bay shooting weddings and engagement sessions last week. Jenny and Clark both live in the the city near Buena Vista park so they wanted to photograph their engagements close to home. I love this couple. I met them about a year ago at my home studio and once we opened the studio on main in Murphys they were thrilled to come and take a peak. So here is a peak at their engagement session.
