I dream of cabo!

A dream job and opportunity came to my doors a few months ago and now we leave for our adventure tomorrow! A company out of San Jose has hired Madijon and Alldrin Photography to come to Cabo for a week and cover their presidents weekend for employees. During our stay we will be covering extreme events such as zip-lining, atv tours, and snorkeling. This truly is a lifetime experience and we are so excited to be apart of it. We will be on location until April 26th and will return to the office on the 27th. Wish us luck……We will post many photos of our trip when we get back!

I just love this time of the year. My life tends to be a bit hectic but when I get to photograph my summer brides and grooms for their engagements all the busy moments melt away. Shannon and Chris called me a few months ago looking for a wedding photographer and from that single phone call our personalities clicked. It just so happened that Chris’s parents owned a rental that my husband and I rented for a few months before we bought our house. When I met the couple for the first time, they were excited and had great energy which made for an awesome shoot. We somehow beat the timing of the rain which also led the energy. I’m so excited to shoot their wedding in October at Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp. Here are a few shots from their engagement shoot last week…

Since the first of April my calendar have been booked with client meetings and portrait sessions, so I would like to apologize for not posting anything on my blog lately. But boy do I have many surprises and sessions to post to keep you coming back for months…haha that’s me trying to be catchy…Any who, last week I did a session at SUNsual Tanning in Angels Camp. Owner, Melissa Willingham is a great friend of mine who needed some updated images of the salon for her website, so I happily offered to take some shots. She got two beautiful models and we took photographs in all four levels of high pressure beds she has in the salon. I wanted to share some of the images and here they are…Check back tomorrow for a sneak peak of Kelliann’s one month session, they are so darn cute!!!! ta ta for now!

Not only a photographer but an assistant videographer

Darren Baca owner of Reel Eyes has been such a good friend of mine as far back as I can remember. We have both become artists of our own trade but often get the opportunity to work together as we both cover weddings. I had the awesome experience of stepping into his shoes and shooting a wedding in motion as an assistant videographer. It was so cool to video the wedding and to see how different it is from photographing a wedding. Here is the video link: http://vimeo.com/31214158. When I met Jenna and Justin a little over a year ago I knew from the moment I met them that their wedding was going to be a blast. It was just that! I set a record for dancing photos taking over 700 of just dancing, that explains the amount of energy and hip hop music that made the night fun. They got married up in the hills of Highway 17 in Los Gatos at the Creekside Terrace.

with wedding season gliding along, were still shooting engagement sessions for our September and October weddings. I spent almost an entire week in the bay shooting weddings and engagement sessions last week. Jenny and Clark both live in the the city near Buena Vista park so they wanted to photograph their engagements close to home. I love this couple. I met them about a year ago at my home studio and once we opened the studio on main in Murphys they were thrilled to come and take a peak. So here is a peak at their engagement session.
