lets party…. fourth and final day in cabo

WOW! The farewell dinner that EMC held was out of this world. There food display was amazing and we all found ourselves photographing each inch of the dinner and dancing areas. After dinner ended and announcements were made guest were directed into the disco area where there was a white seamless dance floor floating on the pure white sand. Hand made cigars were being rolled in the corner of the event, too top off the night they had fire dancers and stilt walkers and a grand firework show. This experience was something that I will never forget and we hope to work with EMC again in the future. Here are some photos of the final dinner…

Day three was by far the best day of our trip. We got to go into Cabo San Lucus and photograph the famous “arch”. Fifty people hopped onto a catamaran for a day of snorkeling and swimming. We got a entire tour of the bay which is absolutely beautiful. We got some great shots from the trip. Check back tomorrow for our final day and one amazing dinner party held right on the beach…

Group Shot!

I would have to say that the second day was one of my favorites, because we had a small group of people (all super cool) and none of them had ever been surfing before. The main instructor Carlos was so good at surfing, that everyone got up on the bored, even Erik did (my husband). We spent the entire day in this small cover about five minutes from the hotel and surfed the entire day, life couldn’t get better than that. After we returned from our trip we got the rest of the evening off to relax and enjoy Cabo. Check back tomorrow for day three of our trip…

this photo sure doesn’t resemble any dog I have seen!

Wow! I can’t believe is has already been two weeks since we have returned from our photography trip to Cabo. Before I take you through our amazing adventure I want to say that I’m so blessed to have a supportive family and friends, if it weren’t for you this trip or my photography business alone would not be as successful as it is now and I want to thank you for that.

I’ve been going through all 6,000 images we took during our trip and I wanted to share our adventure with you as a day by day tour of our itinerary, and before I can start with day one I wanted to tell you background information about the company that hired us. EMC a data storage company out of San Jose and located all around the world, hosts a annual presidents club vacation for their employees that sold 110% of their market sales. During the trip over 450 guests were treated to lush dinners, afternoon excursions and relaxation. But……wouldn’t it be better if this experience could be captured in photographs?? Of course it would, which is why they hired us to come along on the trip to document the fun and exciting event.

Our first day started with a flight out of San Jose where we met John and Michelle two amazing photographers that we had the pleasure working with. John owns mardajon photography. After we arrived in San Jose Del Cabo we checked into our beautiful hotel, the Barcelo’ we were on the seventh floor and had amazing views of the ocean right off our balcony.

We got a tour of the lush hotel and then boom right into shooting. EMC hosted a welcome dinner for all their guests, where we photographed over 200 couples. After the dinner and dancing ended we had a chance to shoot some night hotel shots. Here are a few shots from our first day in Cabo.

Over the next four days I will be posting photographs of our trip and each days excursions we got to participate in. Check back tomorrow for our surfing trip!

Love, love and more love was glowing during Jen and Tyler’s engagement shoot at Columbia State Park last week. I had a great time exploring new locations with a couple that was super fun! Check back in June for their wedding in Arnold.
