two become one……… Kim and Richard

There is a beautiful transformation in a couple when the wedding planning has ended and the true marriage has began to blossom. For Richard and Kim a destination wedding was important not only to be unique but to be able to have Kim’s mother Marsha be apart of the wedding day as a whole. Both Kim and Richard live in New Zealand and traveled many oceans to our small town of Angels Camp to get married. Marsha Kim’s mother lives in Angels Camp and had the pleasure of planning their entire wedding. From the photographer, cake, venue, everything was set and all Kim and Richard had to do was arrive and enjoy their special day. It was remarkable to see how many people traveled from all over the world to watch the uniting of marriage as this couple pledged their love to one another. People came from countries as fare a New Zealand, England, Peru, New York, and New Jersey, it truly was a great mix of wonderful people.

In New Zealand the symbol of forever had been instilled in both Kim and Richard which created the theme of their special day. Kim’s dress was custom made with a New Zealand symbol for lasting love and forever. This pattern was then replicated in Richards tie joining them both in the tradition that means so much to them. As they both set foot on the journey of marriage and love, Kim and Richard plan on honeymooning in Figi where they both always dreamed of going. It was a amazing afternoon wedding although the heat caught up with us.  I truly enjoyed photographing their wedding. Here are a few shots from their special day.

  • Not only a photographer but an assistant videographer

Darren Baca owner of Reel Eyes has been such a good friend of mine as far back as I can remember. We have both become artists of our own trade but often get the opportunity to work together as we both cover weddings. I had the awesome experience of stepping into his shoes and shooting a wedding in motion as an assistant videographer. It was so cool to video the wedding and to see how different it is from photographing a wedding. Here is the video link: http://vimeo.com/31214158. A few of my shots are in the opening which is even more awesome, I must have done somewhat of a good job. Thanks Darren for letting me shooting this wedding with you, it was a lot of fun.

  • Jenna & Justin’s party rock wedding……….los gatos wedding photographer

When I met Jenna and Justin a little over a year ago I knew from the moment I met them that their wedding was going to be a blast. It was just that! I set a record for dancing photos taking over 700 of just dancing, that explains the amount of energy and hip hop music that made the night fun. They got married up in the hills of Highway 17 in Los Gatos at the Creekside Terrace.

  • san francisco engagement session

with wedding season gliding along, were still shooting engagement sessions for our September and October weddings. I spent almost an entire week in the bay shooting weddings and engagement sessions last week. Jenny and Clark both live in the the city near Buena Vista park so they wanted to photograph their engagements close to home. I love this couple. I met them about a year ago at my home studio and once we opened the studio on main in Murphys they were thrilled to come and take a peak. So here is a peak at their engagement session.
